The Title Swap: The movie was originally going to be called The Revenge of Khan, but the title was changed to The Wrath of Khan because Lucasfilm was working on a movie called Revenge of the Jedi (which eventually became Return of the Jedi).
Saavik’s Heritage: In the original script and deleted scenes, it is revealed that Saavik is half-Vulcan and half-Romulan. This explains why she is more emotional and "tears up" during Spock’s funeral.
